Welcome & My Bio

My name is Jacque(lyn) Martin (formerly Orr). My mission is to be a positive force for change, leading with joy, courage, purpose, and integrity for the good of all. I am an industry veteran with over 30 years of experience working in Arizona, including (about) 15 years in higher education and global business, and five (5) years in information technology services (ITS). I have a master's degree in business administration (MBA), an undergraduate degree in accounting, and a portfolio of governance, risk, compliance (GRC), and technology certifications. My passions surround communication, student success, supporting employees, and relationship building.

I advocate for accessibility and am dedicated to creating safe spaces for all individuals. I have worked with executive leaders across colleges, districts, and globally, and my leadership has led to savings, enhanced policy and procedures, motivated dedicated teams, aided faculty, and fostered student success beyond finance, budget, audit, technology, and compliance skills. I advocate for democracy, privacy, security, digital citizenship, collaboration, and the power of higher education to change the world.
